The Meissen windmill begins the series of windmills, water mills and horse mills in the mill district. With its smooth tower and well-kept surroundings, the Dutchman's windmill from 1869 is a pleasant sight in the Weser landscape. Since the restoration, the mill is once again equipped with wind-operated sail wings and a wind rose. In the new miller's house, visitors are served coffee and cake from the old-style oven.
